Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions. Straight Answers.
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching, not therapy. I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. The work we do is practical, emotionally intelligent, and focused on how patterns show up in your real life — and how to change the ones that no longer serve you.
What do we actually work on in sessions?
Whatever is most present in your life: stress, relationships, boundaries, decision-making, guilt, transitions, or feeling stuck. I pay close attention to patterns and blind spots and help you work with them in real, usable ways.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before starting?
No. Many clients start with a sense that something isn’t working, even if they can’t yet name what they want instead. Clarity often comes through the work.
How long do people usually work with you?
It varies. Some people come in for a defined container; others stay longer because the work continues to support how they live and make decisions. We’ll talk honestly about what makes sense for you.
Is this a fit if I’m looking for quick fixes or motivation?
Probably not. This work is for people ready to look honestly at their patterns and change how they respond over time — not for hype or surface-level encouragement.
What kind of support can I expect from you?
You can expect directness - in kindness - care, and consistency. I’ll challenge you when needed, support you when things feel messy, and help you build steadier ways of living that actually hold up in real life.
