Authentic or Conditioned?

Belief systems are the bases of people’s worldviews. We have beliefs grounded in fact, and beliefs grounded in emotion and life experience. These belief systems shape our world view.

Many of our beliefs were ingrained in us as children, from our parents and other influential adults. In most cases, these beliefs serve us well until a certain point. But after that point, some beliefs become limiting and perhaps even damaging.

What if this belief, that you picked up a long time ago, that has been encouraged by society, family or/and friends, is actually a conditioned way of believing and you have accepted it for so long it feels like your truth?

Today am sharing some examples and real life experiences in context to our today’s episode of Liberate Your People Pleaser, and I’m gonna also dig deeper and answer some very important questions:

- How to know if the belief you have for yourself is Authentic or a conditioned one?

- How to break through a belief that you've been thinking it's who you are?

Divergent thinking and access to creative problem solving

So, what is creative Divergent thinking? Divergent thinking is a thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions.

The goal of divergent thinking is to generate many different ideas about a topic in a short period of time. Following divergent thinking, the ideas and information will be organized using convergent thinking; i.e., putting the various ideas back together in some organized, structured way. You can use divergent thinking activities as quick warm-ups to activate creativity or as a brain-break in the middle of a more analytical task.

In today’s episode of Liberate Your People Pleaser I’m going to dig deep on this topic with my guest,Bella Englebach. Bella Englebach has been applying divergent thinking to operations and R&D for over fifteen years. Trained as a scientist, she helps people to see that the heart of “lean” improvement is the scientific method. She works with leaders and managers to create environments where problems can be seen, innovative solutions can be discovered and tested, and people can truly drive improvement.

What you will discover:

- What is Divergent thinking, and how to access it?

- How do we start to lose our creativity?

- What is the difference between divergent thinking & conversion thinking ?

- Why getting attached to Ideas is dangerous?

How to Ask for What You Need

It can be amazingly difficult to ask for what we need.

There may be some topics or with certain people, that it’s easy, but for most of us, it feels more complicated.

If we’re pretty sure the person isn’t going to want to give us what we ask for, we might get triggered into anger, or overly justifying and rationalizing why we are asking.

In today’s Liberate Your People Pleaser  episode, I’ll break down how to ask for what you need in a way that is compelling and simple.

There’s no better skill to start the new year with!

You can listen to today’s episode HERE.

Happy New Year and I’d love to hear about the things you want to ask for in 2022. DM me and tell me about them!

Put Yourself at the Top of Your List

Growing up we were often taught that being selfless is better than being selfish. But there’s a huge difference between being selfish and taking care of yourself. Overwhelm will often kick in when we’re running around taking care of everybody else, and haven’t stopped and considered what we need to do to take care of ourselves.

Because putting the happiness and well being of others before our own wants and needs is a formula for exhaustion, overwhelm and burn-out. We cannot be our best selves living our best lives if we constantly put others before ourselves.

In today’s episode of Liberate Your People Pleaser I’m going to dig deep and answer some  very important questions regarding today’ topic:

Why do you need to put Yourself at the Top of Your List?

How to drop the habits of people-pleasing?

How to stop prioritizing other people over yourself without being selfish?

How to Start Setting Boundaries and Prioritizing Your Needs?

And much more.

Enjoy ending 2021 and beginning fresh, at the top of your list, 2022!
